Interoperability Initiative for European eHealth Area: i2-health will identify requirements and submit recommendations for the deployment of interoperable eHealth infrastructures and services for trans-European use through the definition of a generic eHealth interoperability framework and common approaches to patient/professional identifiers and ePrescribing and health data messages.
CEN/ISSS eHealth Standardization Focus Group: CEN/ISSS has on the request of the European Commission started a new investigation of standards requirements in the area of "eHealth", in connection with the eEurope 2005 action line and in support of the eHealth Policies of the member states. An open CEN/ISSS Focus Group was created to prepare a report and recommendations on these issues. The group was founded 2003-12-17 and had its last meeting Feb 21, 2005. The group agreed on the report that was revised after the public commenting period.
EHTEL European Health Telematics Association: The EHTEL Association is a unique organisation, its membership spanning health authorities, hospitals, research institutions, industry, patient groups, insurance providers, healthcare professionals and others. This broad range of skills and experiences guarantees our ability to understand the impact of eHealth from a broad base and on a wide scale, and therefore to make known the benefits of eHealth of which our members are convinced.

Satzungsgemäße Ziele sind u.a. die Schaffung einer bundesweiten, offenen, standardisierten Plattform für gesicherte und geschützte Kommunikation und Datenhaltung sowie vertrauenswürdige Informationsverarbeitung in der Gesundheitsversorgung und Gesundheitsverwaltung. ZTG Zentrum für Telematik im Gesundheitswesen GmbH: Das Kompetenzzentrum ZTG Zentrum für Telematik im Gesundheitswesen GmbH wurde im November 1999 auf Initiative und mit Unterstützung der Landesregierung Nordrhein-Westfalens von führenden Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie-Anbietern sowie von Institutionen und Organisationen des Gesundheitswesens in Nordrhein-Westfalen gegründet. Ziel des Unternehmens in Public Private Partnership ist es, die Entwicklung, Einführung und Verbreitung von neuen modernen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien im Gesundheitswesen zu fördern.
